Karim Benzema put Real ahead in the 19th minute and Sergio Ramos made it 2-0 just before half-time. Bayern improved in the second half but could not find a way past Real goalkeeper Keylor Navas, and Cristiano Ronaldo added two more goals in the final minutes to give Real a commanding lead going into the second leg.
